A residences project located at the University Anahuac Mexico Campus Sur in Mexico City.

The terrain contains a varied vegetation (with trees of different heights and flora of different species), also having a topography with several reliefs, especially one of 3m of height that divides both buildings and another ravine full of trees, the apartments of the front and the city in general.

​

In its immediate context is the university, the courts, as well as buildings and other low buildings that overlook Las Torres Avenue. In addition, the orientation of the access building towards the west allows a direct entrance from the university and the orientation of the building of the rooms towards the southeast allows to have a direct view of the city thanks to the height to which the lot is located.

​

The intention is to create two separate volumes that create a distinction of spaces within the residences. A first volume that imitates the shape of an irregular hexahedron that gives hierarchy to the access, using the glass for the lighting and the direct relation with the exterior, as well as the prefabricated concrete that corresponds with the material of the university and that creates a modulation And direct relationship between both volumes.

The access to this first space is through the upper terrain through the lobby, which is an open and centered space, facing the west and leading to the main access door, then the space circulation is divided into two, one towards the study area, bathrooms and laundry and another to the multipurpose area and to the bridge to reach the bedrooms area. Likewise, both areas (study and multipurpose) have a large glass window that faces the entrance allowing a wide illumination of space.

The bedroom area is then accessed as a triangular prism through a 6m long bridge.

When entering, there is a new multipurpose reception space that is hierarchized by a triangular shaped span that rises up from the slab. From here one can access the rooms and the garden terrace that creates a new multipurpose space for outdoor contemplation. The size and shape of the rooms correspond to the shape of the prism, creating two room models; both of two levels. A first model of 40sqm and another one of 32sqm, both oriented to the southeast, with windows that allow ventilation and the view towards the city and the vegetation of the area. The first level of access has the kitchen and multipurpose area and the second floor (ground floor) the bedroom and bathroom area.

Un proyecto de residencias localizado en la Universidad Anáhuac México Campus Sur en la Ciudad de México.

 
El terreno presenta una vegetación variada (con árboles de distintas alturas  y flora de disntintas especies), y una topografía con varios relieves, en especial uno de 3m de altura que divide ambos edificios y otra barranca llena de árboles, los apartamentos del frente y la ciudad en general.

En su contexto inmediato está la universidad, las canchas, así como edificios y otras construcciones bajas que dan hacia la Av. Las Torres. Además, la orientación del edificio de acceso hacia el poniente permite una entrada directa desde la unversidad y la orientación del edificio de las habitaciones hacia el sureste permite tener una vista directa de la ciudad gracias a la altura a la que se encuentra ubicado el lote.

Se propone crear dos volúmenes separados que creen una distinción de espacios dentro de las residencias. Un primer volumen que imita la forma de un hexaedro irregular que le da jerarquía al acceso, utilizando el vidrio para la iluminación y la relación directa con el exterior, así como el concreto prefabricado que corresponde con el material de la universidad y que crea una modulación y relación directa entre ambos volúmenes.

 

El acceso a este primer espacio por el terreno superior a través del vestíbulo, el cual es un espacio entreabierto y centrado, orientado hacia el poniente y que dirije a la puerta principal de acceso, seguidamente la circulación del espacio se divide en dos, una dirijida al área de estudio, baños y lavandería y otra al área multiusos y al puente para llegar al área de habitaciones. Así mismo, ambas áreas (de estudio y multiuso) poseen un gran ventanal de cristal que da hacia la entrada que permite una amplia iluminación del espacio.

Seguidamente se accede al área de dormitorios en forma de prisma triángular a través de un puente de 6m de largo. 

 

Al entrar hay un nuevo espacio de recepción multiuso que está jerarquizado por un vano en forma de prisma triangular que se  eleva porencima de la losa. Desde aquí se accede a los cuartos y  a la terraza-jardín que crea un nuevo espacio multiuso de contemplación al aire libre. El tamaño y la forma de los cuartos corresponden a la forma del prisma, creando dos modelos de cuarto; ambos de dos niveles. Un primer modelo de 40m² y otro de 32m², ambos orientados al  sureste, con ventanas que permiten la ventilación y la vista hacia la ciudad y la vegetación del área. El primer nivel  de acceso posee el área cocina y multiuso y el segundo piso (planta baja) el área de dormitorio y baño.
